Quiero comenzar este ultimo post sobre Nueva York con musica. Los neoyorkinos Interpol son uno de mis "Imprescindibles". Precisamente este sabado pasado tocaron en mi ciudad natal, Madrid, y si no fuera porque yo estaba en la suya, hubiera estado alli. Fue una grata alegria recibir la llamada de mi buen amigo Cesar desde el concierto, el y mis hermanos Pablo, Joan y Hugo no se lo perdieron..., a mi tambien me dais envidia!

     Ayer abandone Nueva York y espero que no por mucho tiempo, ya que en mi experiencia como viajero del Mundo, si que tengo un favorito, y este es NYC.

     Estoy enamorado de esta ciudad, su ritmo, su olor, su color, su gente, sus barrios, su modernidad y su decrepitud, la mezcla de culturas, la cultura precisamente que se respira por todas partes...., no se, son un monton de cosas que no podria terminar de decir aqui,..., esta ciudad me inspira, y espero algun dia, poder vivir aqui.

     Respecto a mi visita, he de decir que 3 dias no son suficiente, NYC tiene mucho para ver y disfrutar. Desde museos oficiales, hasta el propio metro que es otro museo en si mismo. El gran Central Park, el Downtown, la Fifth Avenue, Harlem..., no se, son mil y ahora no voy a enumerarlos uno a uno. Si vienes, te recomiendo una buena guia, y andar, esta ciudad se descubre por si sola y es un estimulo para los cinco sentidos.

       I begin this last post about New York with music. The newyorkers, Interpol, are one of my "Indispensable". Just this past Saturday they played in my hometown, Madrid, and due to my visit to their town, it was impossible for me to assist. It was a pleasant joy to receive the call of my good friend Cesar from the concert, he and my brothers Pablo, Joan and Hugo didnt miss it,..., I envy you too!

    Yesterday I left New york and hopefully not for long, because in my experience as world traveller, I have a favourite, and this is NYC.

    Im in love with this city, its rhythm, its smell, its color, its people, its neighborhoods, its modernity and its decrepitude, the mixture of cultures, culture is precisely what breathes everywhere...., I dont know, many others things and it is impossible to finish, this city inspires me, and I hope, one day, to live here.

     About my visit, I must say that 3 days is not enought. NYC has a lot of things to see and enjoy. From museums to the subway, which is a museum in itself. The great Central Park, Downtown, Fifth Avenue, Harlem..., a thousand of things and Im not going to list them one by one now. If you come, take a good book guide, and walk, this city is discovered by itself and is a stimulus for the five senses.
